The International Scientific-Practical Conference titled “Establishing a National GDU Network: Objectives and Implementation Pathways” was held at Osh State University under the Erasmus+ GREENKG project: “Green and Digital Universities for Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan”. The event was co-led by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (named after K. Dikambaev), which is also the national coordinator of the project.

📌 Key Outcome:
Participants unanimously adopted the Model and Action Plan for the National Network of Green and Digital Universities (GDU). This framework sets the course for a sustainable and technology-driven transformation of Kyrgyz higher education.
📡 OshSU showcased its innovative digital infrastructure, including:
Electronic dashboards
Facial recognition systems
Robotics laboratories
Satellite analysis center
📣 A student representative from the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy emphasized the role of youth in sustainability, advocating for improved environmental literacy. As a result, a national student senate network was proposed and approved, providing an official voice for students in shaping green and digital campus initiatives.
🎓 The event marked a major milestone in building an academic ecosystem focused on sustainable development. The GREENKG project is already catalyzing significant transformation, helping to institutionalize green thinking and digital progress across the university sector in Kyrgyzstan.
